-The third collaboration watch is about "pairs." We have designed four types of pair watches in total of 2 types. Does Suzuki enjoy pairings?

Suzuki:I feel a bit embarrassed about enjoying fashion as a pair. But when I received an order for a pair watch,watchIf so, I felt like I could enjoy matching items easily.

-Why is that?

Suzuki:There are many people who think that pairs have a sense of solidarity and joy that only the individuals can understand, and I'm sure there are many who aspire to such connections. However, clothes are a little high, and many people probably find it difficult to get into enjoying something together. I think so. But the armwatchIf that's the case, it won't be too noticeable, so I think it's a perfect item to casually enjoy matching items.

-Even people who are not used to pairings,watchIf so, it seems easy to incorporate.

Suzuki:This time's armwatchI would be happy if you could feel the joy and warmth that comes from pairing up with a variety of people, such as parents and children, couples, and friends.

 

Add a playful touch to universal design

-When designing a pair watch, are there any points you need to keep in mind?

Suzuki:We focused on designs that will encourage communication. In today's world, most people check the time using their smartphones. That's why it is a functionwatchNot justwatchI wanted to add some fun to it. So, this time we have created a design that gives it a playful feel, focusing on universal floral and striped patterns.

-What is playfulness?

Suzuki:The striped pattern is based on a snake. If you look closely, you can see a snake's face designed on the dial and belt.

-It's true! Her mouth is so cute.

Suzuki:The floral pattern has been designed to be scaled out to the point where it is just the right size for flowers. I think that by abstracting it, the viewer will be able to enjoy viewing various designs. Furthermore, by making the pattern larger, the color is emphasized, creating an impact.

-The cute theme is floral patterns, but by abstracting it, it doesn't look too cute in a good way, and it's a design that even adults can wear stylishly.

Suzuki:It is something that adults would like to wear. Also, when beautiful colors catch your eye, it makes you feel good. thiswatchI would be happy if this will be a change of mood.

 

Easy to read and fun design of numbers

-Are there any points you particularly particular about this collaboration watch?

Suzuki:This time, we are mainly focusing on wearing it as a parent-child pair, so we have focused on font design that is easy for children to read with the numbers on the dial.

-The second collaboration watch is more design-oriented, but this time the text is less abstract.

Suzuki:We kept in mind that everyone could see it as numbers, but we also made sure to create an interesting design. This time, the numbers are made up of only circles and straight lines, providing uniformity throughout. For example, the shapes of the circles 10 and 3 are the same, and the thickness of the straight lines are aligned, creating a pattern-like numeric design while maintaining visibility.

-It's a fun design that lets you feel the movement!

Suzuki:Number designs are already created by various designers, so it is a difficult genre to bring out originality. I have been worried about it many times, but I think I was able to design numbers with a high-quality feel by trial and error.

-It's wonderful. Finally, please give us a message to anyone looking forward to this collaboration watch.

Suzuki:watchI think this is an easy item to pair with. I hope that even those who think that they are somehow embarrassed will enjoy the joy they will wear with their loved ones. Of course, it is also recommended to enjoy it on your own. Choose your favorite pattern and color and incorporate it into your daily outfits.
